Lecture Objectives:
- Have insight into the broad differential diagnosis of the patient presenting with shoulder pain beyond just a rotator cuff or labral tear.
- To gain confidence in the differentiation of normal physiological marrow changes from pathological marrow changes.
- To understand the importance of evaluating the rotator cuff muscles as well as having the ability to determine underlying causes for changes in their appearance.
- To gain confidence in addressing soft tissue masses about the shoulder.
