Course Description
Expedient and accurate radiologic triage is paramount in formulating treatment plans in time-sensitive scenarios, whether a patient presenting with an acute abdomen, acute stroke or the deteriorating patient in the ICU. Treatment paradigms rely heavily if not exclusively on the radiologist’s interpretation. Our distinguished faculty will provide a variety of didactic lectures and case-based presentations with disease-specific approach that includes musculoskeletal, GI/GU, chest, body, pediatrics, neuroradiology, and interventional.
From trauma to tumors, the program incorporates the full spectrum of imaging modalities with CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain film radiography, nuclear medicine and catheter angiography. Speakers will focus not only on the conventional radiographic findings and differentials for acute/critical pathology, but will discuss new and innovative imaging and treatment technology. Educational content is geared for both the seasoned radiologist and those in training.
Questions for any presenter should be sent to info@aocr.org.
This enduring material will remain available until April 18, 2025.
